Job Description
We are seeking a Mechanical Technician to execute maintenance and preservation tasks efficiently and safely to ensure the reliability and longevity of equipment. The role involves performing a variety of maintenance and preservation activities, including cleaning, housekeeping, blasting, spraying/painting, isolation and reinstatement, greasing application, and the preservation of topside items like flanges, bolts and valves.
Requirements
- Proven experience and/or qualified to N/SVQ/HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or local equivalent
- 3 years' experience desired with offshore experience preferred
- Experience and knowledge of hydrocarbon processing systems and utilities
- Good experience of Permit to Work, Mechanical Isolation Standards and Risk Assessment
- Medically fit according to The Company GEMS Instruction Health Requirements to Work Offshore
