Job Description
SBM Offshore is seeking a Tax Analyst to analyze and ensure compliance with tax regulations, optimize tax efficiency, and provide accurate tax reporting and advisory services. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and 1-3 years of experience in tax accounting or a related field.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in tax accounting or a related field
- Proficiency in preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts
- Familiarity with tax compliance software (e.g., TurboTax, CCH, Thomson Reuters)
- Understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and tax implications
- Ability to research tax issues and stay updated with changes in tax laws
- Effective communication skills to work with internal stakeholders
