Tax Manager

SC&H’s Tax Department is seeking Tax Managers to support rapid growth. As a Partner-track opportunity, Tax Managers will lead tax engagement teams, handle tax compliance and consulting issues, and develop staff. The role involves mentoring, training, and assisting senior and staff associates. The Tax Manager will work out of one of three office locations in MD or VA.

Requirements

• BS degree in Accounting, Finance or other business related field
• CPA is preferred
• A minimum of 5 years public accounting experience preparing and reviewing tax returns and advising Companies on their tax strategy
• Previous Big 4/National or Regional firm experience preferred
• Proven success training, mentoring and developing staff
• Strong desire to deliver outstanding client service
• Excellent research, writing, interpersonal and business development skills
• Aptitude and desire to want to make Partner and grow our Tax Services Practice
