Job Description
Operates grinding machines to grind features on bearing components, following specifications and maintaining product quality.
Requirements
- Reads blueprint and job order for product specifications
- Dresses wheel to specifications
- Makes minor machine adjustments to maintain product specification
- Verifies dimensions of finished work piece for conformance to specifications
- Demonstrates safe work practices
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
