Job Description
The Wood Shop Craftsman will design and build fixtures for new and existing Scheels locations, apply finishes, and assist with installation. Prior woodworking and finish carpentry experience required.
Requirements
- Prepare materials for finishing, apply stain and lacquer finishes
- Build fixtures and cabinets to customize spaces
- Set up and operate woodworking machinery
- Finish fixtures and cabinets properly and safely
- Assist with installation of fixtures and cabinets
- Load and unload trucks
- Pack and ready fixtures and cabinets for shipping
- Travel to Scheels locations for installations
- Work with the Woodshop team to complete projects to Scheels Woodshop Standards
- Identify and recognize unsafe working conditions or work practices
