Lead Civil Engineer

Scherer Design Group, LLC is a privately-owned consulting firm specializing in Telecommunications, EV charging and Utility infrastructure design solutions. The Lead Civil Engineer will be responsible for designing and reviewing new site builds, leading other engineers and designers, and performing site inspections.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with minimum 4 years' experience, telecom experience preferred
• Experience with developing drawings in AutoCAD
• Knowledge of building envelope structural components
• Knowledge of construction drawing standards
• Ability to perform inspections of sites and other structures, both visually and with instruments
• Ability to record data clearly and write passages for reports, letters, etc.
• Ability to drive and safely operate a motor vehicle
• Design of telecom sites from conception to construction, including layout from scratch, antenna mount design & site plan approval
