Job Description
Schnabel is seeking a Project Engineer to assist with the successful execution of geostructural construction projects. This role involves close collaboration with project managers, estimators, and clients, managing project budgets and schedules, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in traditional construction roles and a strong understanding of the company’s work scope.
Requirements
- 1 – 2 years of experience in a Construction Management or Engineering role or successful completion of an internship.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans, specifications, and technical drawings.
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug test.
- Local and regional travel as required for projects.
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds of materials.
- Driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a safe driving record.
