Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Schnabel is an employee-owned, professional engineering and consulting firm seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to support our growing business in Rockville, MD.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant professional experience in consulting geotechnical engineering
• Prior experience with geotechnical transportation related design and familiar with LRFD, AASHTO and other local DOT required design codes
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• Professional Engineering license in Maryland or another US State
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong work ethic and a desire for continual self-improvement
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment
• Confidence and independence, with a shared sense of responsibility
