Job Description
Schnabel is seeking a structural welder to assist in the building of specialty underground structures, including piles and walers. The role involves cutting, welding, and piling duties, requiring proficiency in hand and power tools. Schnabel is a family-owned, national-focused contractor.
Requirements
- Proficient in hand and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret plans and schematics
- Minimum of 2 years of documented experience in a structural welding role
- Certified structural welder with a D1.1. Or ability to pass required weld tests
- Ability to lift and carry 80 pounds of materials
- Local and regional travel as required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- No specific requirements for years of experience, unless noted in education
