Job Description
Responsible for all aspects of facilities and building operations, ensuring sites are safe, clean, functional, and compliant with applicable health and safety requirements. Balances hands-on physical upkeep with proactive safety management to protect employees and reduce organizational risk.
Requirements
- High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, engineering or related field preferred.
- 2-5+ years in facilities management, maintenance, or safety management.
- Valid NYS driver’s license required.
- Current fork truck license, with a safe record, or ability to acquire one internally.
- Must be able to be certified for powered industrial truck operation.
- Ability to plan, schedule, train, check and evaluate work.
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations, Environmental Protection Agency(EPA), and other safety regulations
- Short-term trades and/or technical training desired
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar certification a plus
