Job Description
Scholar Rock is seeking a Medical Director to lead clinical development for products from IND to Proof-of-Concept. This role involves providing medical leadership, collaborating with other teams, and contributing to a robust clinical development program. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated physician scientist with expertise in advancing product candidates to deliver life-changing medicines. The company focuses on therapies for neurological diseases and has a proven approach to muscular-targeted treatments.
Requirements
- MD, MD/PhD, or equivalent
- Experience in biopharmaceutical clinical development
- 3+ years of clinical development leadership
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Experience with innovative clinical study design
- Knowledge of ICH-GCP
- Understanding of drug development process from pre-IND to BLA
- Understanding of US and EU regulatory guidelines
- Experience interacting with health authorities
- In-depth knowledge of GCP/ ICH
