The Production Editor supports the production of school market–only novelty items, book-plus products, and paperback books. They will review and route passes of covers, interiors, and novelty components, and create a biweekly status report.
Requirements
- Basic copyediting and proofreading knowledge
- Attention to detail of text, project specs, and artwork
- Ability to prioritize and identify problems in a high-volume work environment
- Strong computer skills, including facility with Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with multiple project stakeholders in written and in-person interactions
