Compliance Officer

We are seeking to hire an exceptional Compliance Officer to join our London office, reporting into the Director of Compliance based in Dubai. The role requires a focus on high levels of service and technical expertise, with a blend of regulatory, investment and markets compliance knowledge and expertise.

Requirements

• Providing compliance advice and training to the EMEA investment personnel on their activities
• Lead Control Room activity in the EMEA region
• Engage in the review of, and input into the approval for new investment instruments, products, strategies, technology, models, trading venues, and trading activities in the EMEA region
• Act as compliance SME as needed for relevant business change initiatives in the EMEA region
• Act as first line response for exchange and regulator queries related to EMEA market activity
• Support and preparation of relevant business coverage for formal examinations
• Track and lead regulatory change initiatives connected to relevant market structure and investment related regulatory change in the EMEA region
• Support the wider Global Markets Advisory team and Compliance department as needed
