Job Description
The School District of Philadelphia is seeking a 26-27SY Teacher, Full-Time- ELA/Social Studies7-8 to plan and teach their subject area, following the scope and sequence for all courses. The teacher will assess the skill level of students, provide instruction, and use real life applications and simulations to instruct students. The salary ranges from $55,771 to $97,852, depending on level of education and years of experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Valid Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Instructional Certificate in respective grade level, and endorsements in respective subject area
- Meet requirements to obtain an emergency permit and ability to consistently meet emergency permit requirements until instructional certification can be issued
