Job Description
The School District of Philadelphia seeks a Full-Time Itinerant Special Education Teacher to assist in the development and implementation of school-based job training programs for exceptional students. The teacher will provide direct services to support job-related skills development and assist students in making a successful transition from school to work.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- One year of full-time, paid, professional teaching experience working with students with moderate or severe disabilities
- Possession of a valid Commonwealth of Pennsylvania certificate in Special Education endorsed for Cognitive, Behavior, Physical and/or Health Disabilities or to teach the Physically and/or Mentally Handicapped
