The Process Machine Operator will be responsible for glass identification and material handling, operating manual and CNC finishing machinery, and quality inspection of products. The role also involves maintaining paperwork and recordkeeping, performing preventative maintenance, and maintaining cleanliness and good housekeeping within work areas.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Three to five years related manufacturing experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, customer drawings, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively to all levels of management and employees
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, measurements, area, circumference, and volume
- Apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
- Use business systems and Microsoft Office Suite software proficiently
- Ability to use gauges to measure
- Ability to be precise, organized, and review work
