Quality Engineer

SCHOTT is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their Lighting and Imaging business unit. The ideal candidate will have a BS in Engineering, 2+ years of related experience in manufacturing, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• BS in Engineering or similar technical discipline
• 2+ years related experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Working knowledge of GD&T and how to evaluate
• Hands on experience with manual measurement tools and electronic measurement equipment
• Experience in product and process audits
• Experience in following / maintaining an ISO 9001, 13485, AS9100 Quality Management System
• Computer proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office software
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Effective communication skills: listening, writing, speaking and oral presentations
• Self-motivated and results oriented
• Able and willing to work independently and in a team structure
