Job Description
SCHOTT is looking for a Specialist Production Plant to strengthen their team in the melting plant. The role involves operating, setting up, and equipping machines and equipment in the glass melting process, as well as conducting maintenance and repair measures and supporting process engineers in process improvements.
Requirements
- Completed technical training (e.g. process technician, industrial mechanic, plant operator)
- Experience in the melting plant, in hot forming, or in comparable production areas is advantageous
- Experience and willingness to work in a shift system
- Technical understanding of thermal processes, plant operation, and process control is advantageous
- Good documentation skills and ideally SAP basic knowledge
- Very good German language skills in word and writing
