Mechanical Field Service Engineer

SCHOTTEL is seeking Mechanical Field Service Engineers to install and commission propulsion systems on various vessels, conduct system start-ups, perform scheduled maintenance and inspections, and diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues. The role requires a minimum degree of MBO-3 in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, +2 years of experience in mechanical field service, and proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics. Requirements

• Minimum degree of MBO-3 in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• +2 years of experience in mechanical field service, preferably in propulsion systems or a related industry.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and software used in the industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Fluency in English. Dutch and French are a plus but not a must.
• A valid driver's license.
