Computational Chemist, Senior Scientist II / Principal Scientist I

We’re seeking a Computational Chemist to join us in our mission to improve human health and quality of life through the development, distribution, and application of advanced computational methods! Our drug discovery group of over 60 scientists includes designers, modelers, computational chemists, medicinal chemists, crystallographers, biochemists, and biologists with experience working on all common target classes and therapeutic areas.

Requirements

• PhD in computational chemistry, organic chemistry, or physical chemistry, preferably with postdoctoral experience or 1 to 5 years industry experience
• Experience in two of the following molecular modeling areas: virtual ligand screening, computationally-driven lead optimization, machine learning, molecular dynamics, quantum mechanics, cheminformatics, ADMET/QSPR
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in an interdisciplinary environment
• Background in programming/scripting and/or chemically-aware databases
