Job Description
The Transportation Supervisor oversees daily dispatch operations, ensuring efficient coordination of drivers, loads, routes, and schedules. This role provides mentorship and specified supervisory responsibilities for transportation staff, monitors fleet performance, supports CDL A drivers with real time problem solving, and helps maintain service, safety, and compliance standards.
Requirements
- 2–4+ years of experience in dispatching, transportation, or logistics (CDL A environment required)
- Strong understanding of DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Proven ability to lead and mentor team members
- Proficiency with dispatching software and GPS tracking tools
