Associate Mechanical Engineer

SEL is seeking a people-oriented Associate Mechanical Engineer to join our Product Support and Development – Mechanical team. The role involves developing mechanical tools, fixtures, or jigs to improve production processes, with a focus on design quality, collaboration, and delivering results on time and within budget.

Requirements

• B.S. and/or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering
• 2+ years of experience in automation integration, materials and processes, mechanics, computer-aided design, electronic manufacturing techniques
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Strong project management experience
• Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
• Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
• Background check results satisfactory to SEL
• Negative drug test result(s)
