Buyer

The Buyer will be responsible for adhering to purchasing policies and practices to ensure highest quality, appropriate inventory levels, timely delivery, and competitive cost from suppliers. The role requires strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills, as well as the ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities. The Buyer will also work cooperatively in a team environment and follow SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.

Requirements

• High School diploma or G.E.D.
• Typically, 1 or more years of experience
• Basic skills in Microsoft Excel
• Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
• Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
• Background check results satisfactory to SEL
• Negative drug test result(s)
