
Job description
Installing, configuring, and testing telecommunications systems, including hardware and cabling, to meet project or mission requirements. Conducting routine diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on telecommunications equipment to ensure consistent system uptime and performance.
Preparing technical documentation, recording maintenance logs, and tracking system updates for compliance and process improvement initiatives. Troubleshooting complex connectivity issues, applying industry-standard practices and diagnostic tools to resolve system faults.
2-4 years of experience in a telecommunications mechanic role. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline. Possess an active DoD Secret security clearance.
