Senior Data Center Engineer

SciTec is a dynamic non-traditional defense contractor that delivers advanced technologies in support of U.S. National Security and Defense. We are seeking a talented Senior Datacenter Engineer to join our team in Boulder, CO.

Requirements

• 8+ years professional experience performing duties of a datacenter engineer
• CompTIA Security + (Plus) Certification
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows server environments including experience managing Active Directory
• In-depth working knowledge and experience with VMware / vCenter / vSphere
• General working knowledge and previous experience supporting Windows Server Failover Cluster (WSFC) services
• Expert understanding of LAN/WAN principles and protocols, including BGP routing
• In-depth experience designing, deploying, and managing firewalls
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology or related field
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
• Demonstrated attention to detail
• Good verbal and written communication skills
