Job Description
The Vessel Accountant provides support to the Chief Accountant and the Accounting Officer with all documentations required pertaining to the allotment of the seafarers and any other accounting matters. The position is responsible for preparing allotment slips, verifying correctness of allotments, preparing certificates, and performing other accounting tasks.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Business, Finance, or any related bachelor's degree course
- At least 2 years of experience in crew manning or Shipmanagement
- Previous experience holding a similar position in the Accounting Department for at least 1 year
