Job Description
Join Scotiabank as the Director & Head, Insights & Analytics, IT Risk and lead the enterprise function that centralizes, modernizes, and operationalizes technology & cyber risk insights. You will set the strategy, build the target-state metrics program, and drive measurable risk reduction by enabling data-driven prioritization and remediation across global Technology.
Requirements
- 12+ years progressive leadership in data/analytics, technology governance, or transformation in large, regulated orgs
- 5+ years leading teams
- Proven experience centralizing risk data/reporting and delivering executive-grade insights
- Strong understanding of technology infrastructure, cybersecurity, risk management practices, and regulatory expectations
- Proficiency with data visualization (Power BI, Tableau) and analytics (SQL, Python); process automation experience
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills with senior stakeholders
- Bachelor’s in business, Technology, Risk, Finance, or related; advanced degree/certifications (CISSP, CISA, CISM) preferred
- Experience with Board/regulatory routines and 2LOD/3LOD engagement
- Background in financial services or similarly complex/regulatory environments
