Job Description
Join ScotiaTech, Scotiabank's new Technology hub in Bogota, as a Quality Assurance Functional Associate. Contribute to the success of the Insurance Domain Technology / Quality Assurance Functional and Automation team, executing individual goals and plans in support of the team's business strategies and objectives.
Requirements
- Proven work experience in software quality assurance
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Experience with writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Experience with writing simple or complex SQL queries for data validation
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
- Demonstrable, practical hands-on experience using Jira
- Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish and a demonstrated ability to resolve escalated issues effectively
- Ability to deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple competing priorities
- Results focused innovator, passionate about the success of the team
- Experience/knowledge of PEGA, Accounting principles, Success Factors, SAP
