Resilience Architect

As a Resilience Architect, you will be actively engaged in supporting architecture teams across Scotiabank to improve the resilience of their architectures. This includes reviewing solutions in various architecture review boards, advising projects on how to improve resilience of their designs, supporting architecture teams to design resilient patterns and contributing to templates, policies, and standards related to resilience.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional background.
• Knowledge and expertise in at least five technology disciplines, such as software development, API management, containers, system design, information security, technology third party management, cloud computing (bias towards VMWare, Azure and GCP), midrange and mainframe computing, database management, operating system management, incident - problem - change management, and network management.
• Knowledge of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman and/or SABSA.
• 8+ years of experience in IT and system architecture.
• Experience working with large-scale distributed systems in financial institutions
