Requirements

• MBA or MS in Finance, Accounting or Economics
• CPA or CFA preferred
• 6-8+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, revenue management, business partnering, or performance management within banking or financial services
• Strong understanding of revenue and balance sheet drivers, profitability analysis, and financial statements
• Experience leading forecasting, planning, management reporting, and executive presentation materials
• Strong analytical and modelling skills, with the ability to synthesize large data sets into concise insights and recommendations
• Strong understanding of banking products and finance concepts across Canadian Banking, Capital Markets, or International Banking is an asset
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial reporting/planning tools; experience with Power BI, SmartView, OBI, or similar tools is an asset
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex analysis clearly to Executive Management
• Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and a continuous improvement mindset
• Expert ability to balance competing or conflicting goals of various departments/stakeholders, requiring a mature, diplomatic approach and highly developed negotiation and influencing skills
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment under tight deadlines
