Software Developer(Java)

Contribute to the success of the Pricing and Rates applications within the Deposits Domain of Canadian Banking Engineering. Ensure compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures. Provide system analysis, design / programming, technical documentation, and support for existing and new applications and systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
• At least 3-5 years of technical working experience in systems analysis, design, development, unit testing, and debugging
• Technical working experience with Core Java (Version 8 or higher)/Java and Python
• Proficient in the knowledge of SQL & relational databases
• Knowledge or experience in the use of GIT, Gradle, Jira, Confluence or a similar tool(s) for building Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
• Technical working experience in an agile environment
• 3-5 years of working experience in the banking/financial services industry
• Working knowledge of SoapUI
• Experience working on cloud platforms
