Job Description
Join Scotiabank's Global Banking and Markets Engineering team as a Software Engineer (Java) to develop and implement market-leading solutions for capital markets products and analytics platforms.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience developing, deploying, and maintaining large-scale applications with complex integration.
- Recent experience with relational and non-relational databases (Oracle, Postgres SQL, SQL).
- 2+ years of experience reading, writing, and running SQL scripts.
- Experience with UNIX Shell scripting in Sun Solaris/Linux environments.
- Experience working in an Agile environment, with experience and understanding of Test-Driven Development methodology.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering or relevant experience.
