Job Description
The Staff Accountant reports directly to the Controller and requires an energetic, service oriented individual responsible for supporting various aspects of finance and accounting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2–3 years of relevant professional experience
- Self-motivated individual who has a great attitude
- Detail oriented
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Results-driven personality and ability to plan and achieve department goals
- Ability to demonstrate sound judgement and resourcefulness in decision making and problem solving
- Ability to maintain confidentiality on sensitive projects
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong Excel skills required, including the ability to maintain spreadsheets and use formulas for data analysis
- Ability to travel using a variety of transportation
- Valid driver’s license
