Job Description
Ayrshire College is seeking a Chair of the Board of Management to provide strategic leadership, effective oversight, and assurance. The Chair will lead the board, fostering constructive relationships with the Principal and stakeholders, and ensure strong governance.
Requirements
- Significant experience of governance and leadership in a public or voluntary sector setting
- Proven ability to provide strategic leadership and effective oversight
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Ability to provide constructive challenge and ensure accountability
- Knowledge and understanding of further education and skills development
- Experience of working with a Board of Management or equivalent
- Ability to work in partnership with the Principal and Executive Team
