Finance Attorney

Scout is seeking a Finance Attorney to support our growing renewable-energy platform. In this role, you will leverage your background in project finance, corporate finance, and commercial lending transactions to facilitate the development, financing, construction, and long-term operation of Scout’s wind, solar, and energy storage projects.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in finance, project finance, banking, or structured finance transactions at a law firm or in-house legal department.
• Experience drafting and negotiating loan agreements, security documents, and related financing instruments.
• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. state, with ability to obtain CO admission or in-house counsel certification if applicable.
• Strong writing skills, attention to detail, and organizational ability.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
