Specialist, Technical Quality Body Exterior

Scout Motors is seeking a Specialist, Technical Quality Body Exterior to join their team. The role will involve driving project activities to ensure best performance for Quality KPIs, providing the Voice of the Customer for design quality in product decisions, and participating in cross-functional teams for exteriors. The successful candidate will have a strong background in interpreting voice of the customer data and experience with automotive systems and part design.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in relevant experience in engineering, Quality and or a manufacturing-related automotive role
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a related technical field desired
• Strong background in interpreting voice of the customer data (such as JD Power IQS) to help influence product design decisions
• Understanding product development and engineering requirements, with experience in validation at the vehicle level.
• Knowledge and experience with automotive systems and part design
• Strong written and verbal communication skills across hierarchy and functional levels (i.e. Director and Vice President Level)
• Ability to identify tasks, develop methodologies and plans, and execute with minimal supervision and own assignments to ensure the project success
• Proven ability to handle multiple assignments with competing priorities
