Job Description
Grant Thornton is seeking an Associate Director – Global Statutory Audit to lead a portfolio of global statutory audit clients, oversee audit teams, and deliver Irish and UK audits while coordinating global engagements. The ideal candidate will have ACA/ACCA qualification, 6+ years of post-qualification experience in audit, and strong technical knowledge of IFRS and Irish GAAP.
Requirements
- ACA/ACCA qualified with at least 6 years' post-qualification experience in audit
- Experience with a top 10 professional services firm
- Proven audit expertise with large Irish or multinational entities
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and Irish GAAP (US GAAP is a plus)
- Skilled in managing teams, delivering to deadlines, and mentoring junior staff
- Proficient in electronic audit platforms and documentation tools
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills
- Commercially aware with a solutions-driven mindset
