Job Description
The Financial Reporting Manager - FAAS role involves preparing, reviewing, and finalising financial statements in the financial services/asset management industry, managing statutory and regulatory reporting processes, and building strong relationships with client representatives.
Requirements
- Strong experience and knowledge in financial services/asset management industry either directly or through practice
- ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent IFAC qualification
- 3-5+ years PQE practical experience of auditing or preparing financial statements
- Proficient accountant, with strong knowledge of IFRS & US GAAP and some knowledge of Irish GAAP and Luxembourg GAAP
- Strong understanding of accounting and regulatory requirements related to funds
- Strong computer skills – advanced knowledge of Microsoft office
- ERP system experience such as Geneva, Investran, Oracle, SAP, Workday – desirable
- Excellent attention to detail and resolves issues as they arise
- Strong communicator, highly articulate with good report writing and excel skills
- Ability to learn quickly and keep abreast of industry developments
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Strong project management skills
- Energy, enthusiasm and passion for a new challenge
- Self-motivated and ability to work within a team
