Job Description
The Safety Manager is responsible for carrying out safety programs and protocols, training employees, and enforcing safety protocols. They will work closely with the Safety Director to ensure compliance with OSHA, federal, and state regulations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- College degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field preferred
- Experience working in the Safety field and managing others
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- Strong understanding of OSHA guidelines and other state and local safety regulations
- Familiarity with the tools, machines, and equipment used in the industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
