Job Description
The Welder/Fabrication/Maintenance Worker is responsible for fabricating and welding unique parts and assemblies for scrap metal, trailers, and containers. Safety is paramount in this role, requiring adherence to all safety procedures and equipment checks. This position involves both repair and fabrication tasks, including shredder maintenance and cleanup.
Requirements
- Must be safety minded
- Must have working knowledge of safe welding and torching practices
- Must be organized and keep a clean and safe work area
- Minimum of 3 years welding experience
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Ability to communicate effectively
