
Job description
Assistant Property Manager works closely with the Property Manager, tenants, and others to oversee all aspects of the building operations. They are responsible for assisting with administrative and organizational duties, liaising with residents, facility maintenance, collecting rent, leasing of the building, marketing, and processing tenant move-ins and move-outs.
Support daily operations of assigned properties, assist with leasing, certifications, evictions, and marketing, while ensuring compliance with HUD requirements, Fair Housing laws, and organizational policies. Assist with facilities management, including managing assets, reviewing budget-to-actual reports, and contributing to maximizing economic occupancy.
This position requires troubleshooting property and resident related issues, and working in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with LIHTC, HUD/PHFA properties and regulations, and familiarity with property management software (Yardi).
