Job Description
The Getty Curatorial Intern will assist in the care and preservation of artworks and objects within the Scripps College collections, gain hands-on experience with conservation methods, and develop a professional conservation portfolio.
Requirements
- Assist in the care and preservation of artworks and objects
- Work under the supervision of a professional conservator
- Perform conservation treatments on ceramics, paintings, textiles, and other objects
- Conduct photo documentation of artworks and objects
- Prepare condition reports and assist with treatment recommendations
