The Media Services Technician provides coordination for a broad range of audio/visual and multimedia services at the College in support of academic support, administrative functions, and College events.
Requirements
- Provides media services support for faculty, classrooms, academic events, and campus events.
- Coordinates with media users to determine equipment use and setup needs, and solves instructional problems relating to use of media equipment.
- Provides consultation, training, and resources to campus community on audio/visual related needs.
- Evaluates equipment repairs and needs, recommends additional equipment and/or modifications with budget estimates for operational and capital expenditures.
- Participates in hiring and training of student employees for campus audio/visual support.
- Performs additional related media services duties as assigned.
