Program Coordinator

The Program Coordinator manages daily operations of the Scripps College Community Engagement Center, overseeing events, student working groups, staffing, and community partners. The incumbent acts as a liaison between community partners, Scripps College, and the Center’s students and faculty, responsible for community and partnership building and maintenance, event management, and supervision of student researchers and employees.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills
• Good judgment and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to mentor students and work with community organizations
• Familiarity with social media and ability to use it effectively
