Machine Operator, Day Shift

Role Overview

As a crucial part of our operations, you will be responsible for setting up and operating automatic or manual production machines, cutting sheet metal, and operating an annealing/brazing furnace, tower, or bending equipment according to blueprints and specifications.

What You Will Do

Reads and interprets blueprints, engineering specifications, and shop orders to determine machine setup, production methods, and sequence of operation. Operates machines, cuts sheet metal, and performs routine preventative maintenance.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Requires high school diploma or equivalent, 1-2 years of related experience, and strong communication skills. Must be able to work individually and as a team, and maintain a clean and orderly work area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 1-2 years related experience and/or training
• Proven working experience with production processes, machines, and/or tools
• Good verbal and written communication skills
