Job Description
Seabird Island is seeking a Supported Child Development Program (SCDP) Support Worker to provide culturally informed support to children with extra support needs in childcare settings.
Requirements
- Certificate or diploma in Early Childhood Education
- Formal education or training in Special Needs or Infant/Toddler care
- At least 2 years of relevant experience working within communities, focusing on early childhood education or children with extra support needs
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- Experience working with Indigenous communities and understanding of Indigenous cultures, traditions, and contemporary issues
