On-Call Expeditor/Runner (CA)

The Expeditor/Runner plays a critical role in ensuring smooth operations between the kitchen and dining room. This position is responsible for facilitating clear communication between kitchen staff and servers, ensuring food is prepared and presented accurately and efficiently, and delivering dishes to guests promptly and professionally.

Requirements

• Inspect all plates leaving the kitchen for proper presentation, accuracy, and temperature.
• Ensure all dishes meet the country club's high-quality standards before they are served to guests.
• Act as the primary link between the kitchen and front-of-house staff, ensuring seamless communication.
• Deliver food items to guests in a timely and courteous manner.
• Maintain an organized and clean expediting station to ensure efficiency during service.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Support servers and kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist in stocking service areas with necessary supplies, such as utensils and condiments.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing guest inquiries or concerns courteously.
