Job Description
You will remotely control inland ships from a Remote Operation Center in Antwerp, working with the crew on board for a safe and efficient journey, and support developers with technical questions or improvements.
Requirements
- Master's certificate
- GMDSS radio operator's certificate
- Radar certificate
- Rhine and/or Elbe patent (nice to have)
- At least 5 years of experience on board, of which 2 years as captain
- Comfortable with computers and technology (such as MS Office)
- Driver's license B (preferably)
- Fluent in Dutch/French and (basic) English (German is a plus)
- Eager to learn and take the lead
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Flexible and practically oriented
