Job Description
Seagull Software, LLC is seeking a Cloud & DevOps Engineering Principal to lead the Operations functions responsible for the architecture, reliability, performance, and cost efficiency of our multi-cloud infrastructure across AWS and GCP. This role manages a team of CloudOps and DevOps engineers, defines operating standards, and partners closely with Engineering, DevOps, and Security to ensure our platforms are secure, scalable, and highly available.
Requirements
- 8-10+ years of experience in CloudOps, DevOps, or SRE roles, including formal leadership of engineers or small teams
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure, GCP, and AWS
- Deep expertise in Kubernetes operations, containerized microservices, and tooling
- Proven experience managing production-grade monitoring/observability frameworks and defining SLOs and alerting
- Advanced knowledge of MongoDB, Redis, Postgres, RabbitMQ, Kafka, and MySQL administration in production environments
