Extrusion Operator

An exciting opportunity to join the team as an Extrusion Operator who will assist in the running of Blown Film Extruders and the recycling line. The role involves setting up machines, performing operating testing procedures, maintaining and cleaning machines, monitoring machines during production, troubleshooting problems, and ensuring quality product.

Requirements

• Knowledge of operating machinery
• Experience of working with blown film and cast film preferable
• Experience of working with hot polymers, blenders, profile extrusion and injection moulding would be an advantage
• Ability to understand standard operating procedures
• Effective communication skills
• Good attention to detail
• Work well within a team
• Remain calm under pressure
